Ideathon & Proposal Submission

Brainstorm innovative ideas and submit your detailed proposal according to the template.

Video & Prototype Submission

Submit the code for your working prototype with a compelling demo video.

Final Presentation & Pitch

Pitch your finalized Minimum Viable Product to a panel of judges and compete for the grand prize.

Hackelite is an inter university innovation challenge organized by the IEEE WIE Student Branch Affinity Group of University of Moratuwa.It brings together undergraduate teams across Sri Lanka to tackle real-world challenges through technology-driven innovation. Participants can design and build solutions using both software and hardware, gaining hands-on experience from ideation to implementation while developing skills in coding and problem-solving.

Your code belongs to you. HackElite 3.0 claims zero ownership over your prototypes. However, we do request the right to showcase your projects in our archives.

NOTE: Our media partner may request your consent to publish an article describing your solution, with full credit given to your team. Additionally, your proposal submission will be shared with a panel of judges solely for the selection process.

Absolutely. HackElite welcomes participants of all experience levels. If you are new to innovation challenges or product building, workshops will be conducted before each phase to help you prepare, strengthen your skills, and confidently take on the next stage of the competition.

First, check your spam or junk folder as confirmation emails sometimes get filtered. If you still can't find it after 24 hours, please reach out to us directly and we'll confirm your registration manually.

The judges' decisions will be final and independent from the influence of IEEE WIE UOM and the Organizing Committee.
